Tuscany Bridal Session by Anna Peters Photography
She isn’t just a woman.
She is the novel you read from cover to cover and yet you read again, and each time you do, you find something that you missed before.

Inspired by the essence of love and the beauty of Italy, we find ourselves evoked with emotion as we move through today's stunning images by Anna Peters Photography. Captured with an incredible eye for detail, the imagery leaves us feeling wistful and yet utterly moved by the expressions and emotions of today's bride. Romantic, moody and utterly exquisite!

From photographer Anna Peters: "The Villa Ivana in Cortona Italy has a rich history that spans centuries. Recently it has been lovingly restored by its owners for this inspiration shoot we wanted to create a wedding look that honors the splendor and romance of the gorgeous venue but still felt fresh and current. We loved the idea of a bride being able to spend a luxurious, leisurely morning getting ready in the beautiful rooms of the Villa, and Silke of Weddings By Silke curated the perfect environment full of lush greenery and flickering candles.

My favorite detail from this shoot is hands down the stunning blush lace gown from Anna Fuca Atelier, which feels like a true timeless heirloom, while still being totally wearable for a real wedding. The drop V back and sheer panels keep it fresh and flattering.

Often times, wedding days can get hectic. I wanted to focus here on a relaxed, introspective bride who's able to take time to reflect and really savor her wedding morning. One of the beautiful things about destination weddings is that they often are smaller, and have more relaxed schedules since you're able to connect with your guests over a period of a few days. That frees you to craft a wedding day that is a true reflection of what you want to experience and how you want to feel! Those quiet memories are such a precious gift, looking back."

My path to photography has been a little unconventional, but looking back it feels just right. I spent most of my life studying classical ballet, with a degree in Anthropology thrown into the mix, and both of those pursuits have deeply shaped how I see the world. In documenting a family in their home, wandering the streets of a new city, or capturing a heartfelt wedding, I witness glimpses of the way form and feeling come together to say something essential about the human experience. How we are wildly different, and also so much the same. I want to live, to breathe in, to dance in that in-between.
