Romantic Desert Elopement by Babsie Ly Photography
I almost wish we were butterflies and liv’d but three summer days - three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain
— John Keats

The feeling of freedom, of utter peace, washes over them as they stand alone feeling the heat on their skin and the sand beneath their feet. Connected through mind, body and soul, they revel in the moments, in the journey that brought them to this place. A place where their love forever is eternal and their bond strong enough to withstand the winds. Inspired by love, emotion and movement, Julie Paisley and her incredible team of vendors brought this vision to life and it was so eloquently captured by Babsie Ly Photography

From photographer Babsie Ly: "Known for it's glowing light and mountain views, Red Rock Canyon was the perfect desert getaway for an intimate elopement. Led by Julie Paisley Photography with the creative directions of Janna Brown Design; this dynamic duo delivered a romantic and sultry styled shoot. The gorgeous white Domenica Domenica bridal robe moved like a dream and was paired perfectly with soft smoky make-up and toussled waves for the hair by the talented Natalia Issa. With strong winds that day, the Domenica Domenica robe and Silk and Willow’s ribbon was flowing effortlessly resulting in beautiful movement and textures. This was actually taken during the day where the Sunlight was strong but by shooting out in the desert with film and digital, it made for some beautiful imagery regardless of the harsh lighting."

My passion as a photographer and artist is to create meaningful images that will be cherished forever. I strive to capture connections and stories through life’s fleeting moments. My artistic approach is a combination of dreamy, romantic and light-filled imagery whether its light and airy or dark and moody. I appreciate clean aesthetics, vibrant colors and the little details.
