Pippin Hill Wedding Inspiration by Molly Carr Photography

Pippin Hill Wedding Inspiration by Molly Carr Photography
Only you could do it. Only you could steal words from my tongue, heartbeats from my chest, colorful landscapes from my eyes. Only you could touch hidden places, fill the empty spaces and only you could whisper love rhapsodies into my soul.

Timeless elegance, classic love, eternal beauty. All beautiful sentiments captured today by Molly Carr Photography during the Belle Lumiere Workshop. Soft textures mix with romantic tones to create a truly engaging and timeless editorial to inspire brides for year to come.

From designer Lauren Emerson: "Where tradition meets fine art” is our motto at Lauren Emerson Events & Design and we absolutely wanted that to translate into our shoot at Pippin Hill. We had a beautiful dress by Rime Arodaky that was a large inspiration for this shoot. The lace long sleeve top screamed tradition, but the open back and pleated skirt gave a nod to our fine art and modern style. We wanted a bouquet that would play into the juxtaposition of the dress and the ruffled petals of our Grace Rose Farm blooms and cleaner lines of the tuberose did just that. Our tablescape was a continuation of these clean lines and softer accents. We went with a monochromatic typography menu with a border placed on top of soft linen napkins. Our table runner was generously lent to us from Stella Wolfe and we absolutely loved how it draped over the hard edges of the wood and iron hairpin table legs. No detail was by mistake, we even chose the bentwood chairs to mimic the table leg shape.

My favorite detail of the shoot by far was the cake created by Sweet Fix RVA. Not only were the sugar flowers spot on with the selections we made for the bouquet and centerpieces but the overall texture and color of fondant were to die for. Amanda created a soft marbled almost paper like appearance that we just couldn’t help but go gaga over."

Ever since I can remember, I have had a camera in hand, photographing life’s moments, both big and small. From dew drops on a Tuscan olive branch to a pink Vespa in the rain to two lovers walking hand in hand in the Jardin des Tuileries, I get immense joy from seeking out and documenting the beauty of everyday life. As a fine art destination wedding photographer, I approach my work with an editorial approach combined with a love of candid photography to create painterly images that are romantic, ethereal, and timeless.
