Moonstone Inspired Seaside Editorial by Heather Payne Photography
She would risk heartbreak,
for she craved feeling alive too much.
An untamed creature addicted to love,
she wanted to burn with desire
to be set free
while flying high on broken wings

The depths of the sea are immeasurable. Deep. Untouched. Full of the unknown that puts a spark in our hearts and a curiosity in our souls. We long to know the unknown. We long for the peace it brings. Inspired by the incomparable depth of the sea, today's breathtaking Moonstone Inspired Seaside Editorial by Heather Payne Photography has captured what we long for. Depth, emotion, beauty. It leaves our souls happy and hearts wanting more!

From designer Lacy Geary: "In creating this editorial with Heather Payne I wanted to capture the true spirit of the sea, the richness and mysteriousness of all that it encompasses. We brought in colors that the sky reflected in the water with the rich gray blues and pearl oyster shells. The layers of textures and tones was inspired by the natural surroundings of the beach stones. Floret's beautiful locally grown moonstone colored flowers gave the design a beautiful pop of color to enhance the elements found within the rocky coastline. Giving the tablescape life of its own in the movement of the silk runner cascading along the table to the beautifully undulating texture of the flowers and into the graceful penmanship of the place cards was always in the back of my mind. In choosing a dress to represent the gracefulness of a organically inspired couture bride, we chose two dresses by Yolan Cris (from MeaMarie Bridal). Both exude such grace and movement.

I am always looking for ways to create a space that fits in with the surroundings so that it more or less becomes part of where I am instead of something that is just placed there. I think in this case the colors an tones provide that balance."

My heart is constantly tugging to discover what’s yet to explored. To create something that’s yet to be seen and give life to a story that’s yet to be told.

Photography is a way for me to “journal” life’s movements. I seek to document a pureness of raw emotion and intimacy that is unique to each love story. Every breath that catches. Every suspended moment in time. Every precious moment of your occasion is what I strive to preserve.
