I absolutely love when weddings and culture come together to create something beautiful and fun. This Latin American inspired shoot, created and captured by The Jar Photography, is the perfect example of how honouring your heritage can be the best inspiration of all.
From photographer Angie Rodriguez: Many aspects of Latin American culture (Mostly Colombian & Venezuelan) can be traced back to the early culture of Spain of the 16th century and its collision with native civilizations (like Muisca & Tayrona). The Spanish brought Catholicism, Africans, the feudal encomienda system, and a caste system that favored European-born whites. This Culture posses a high knowledge in Literature and art, as well as music, folk art and dance. However, not many people associate Latin American culture with Art Knowledge. Reason of my desire to represent a small portion of it with a Latin American inspired Styled Bridal Photo Shoot.
