We love when a talented group of Canadians get together to inspire others and end up creating magic! This gorgeous Industrial Ballet Inspired Bridal Shoot was created by Partner Weddings & Events, and photographed by Lace and Luce Photography, with their Rising Tide Society group. We love supporting community over competition and we think this shoot is the perfect example of what happens when you create to inspire and work beautifully together.
From designer Alicia Partner: When I had first thought about doing this shoot, the biggest take away I wanted from it was the movement of the dress, the feeling a bride gets when she is dancing on the floor and her dress twirls all around her. Every girl loves that feeling of twirling around in their dress on their wedding day with their significant other. As for the industrial element of the shoot I really wanted the contrast of the dark brick walls, with bouts of light coming through the windows to play off the feminine elements of the couch, the pink ballet slippers, and the softness of the cake and florals. I also used the veil I wore at my own wedding (which has pieces of my grandmothers old wedding dress) to make this shoot all the more personal to me! This was my first ever styled shoot, and I don’t think it could have gone any better!
