To fall in the love on the streets of Charleston is to fall in love in Heaven. Surrounded by the most exquisite architecture, the sounds of the city surround you as you wander from perfect street to perfect street. Your white dress flowing in the breeze you find yourself in awe of the beauty of this moment, of this day, your day. Today’s beautiful bridal portrait session, captured so flawlessly on the historic streets of Charleston by local photographer Danielle Hutchinson, has us falling in love with this beautiful city all over again.
From photographer Danielle Hutchinson: “Our inspiration behind this session were the soft colors and hard textures of the historic buildings and how they play with the femininity of the bride. The pink walls and gas lanterns of the Mills house along with the plaster buildings on Chalmers Street give an old world feel with modern flair. We wanted to include Charleston's European influence with the lace gown, shoes and the French macarons along with a beautiful hand torn invitation suite with a sketch of the Gadsden House, a historic manor in the heart of Charleston. The bouquet with fresh cut peonies, quicksand roses and anemones, whose dark center draws your eyes in, looks both polished and hand gathered complimenting the heirloom feel. Soft lips and waves pinned back into a loose bun are adorned with a pearl detailed comb exuding both southern charm and classic elegance.”
