Hillside Engagement Session by Kim Branagan Photography
She couldn’t help but inch a little closer to him
he was fire.......
And oh how she longed to stay warm

Love without passion, albeit sweet, is missing that which makes us long for more. It keeps us coming back when otherwise, we simply would not. It is that which is the fire to every long lasting relationship. The passion between today's couple is palpable and we love the romantic and gentle way with which Kim Branagan Photography captured it.

From photographer Kim Branagan: "The Marin Headlands, just west of the Golden Gate Bridge, was the perfect backdrop for JR and Drew's sunrise engagement session. Every hill we climbed felt like we were transported to some totally new vista and we joked that we could have been in Hawaii, Portland, or Ireland for all of the beauty that was surrounding us. Musicians and free spirits, they wanted their engagement session to speak to their style as well as who they are as a couple.  A vision of boho beauty on her own, JR came alive when she and Drew were together and it felt as if they lived in their own little world, happy to be just the two of them!"

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life // John Lennon

There is an amazing, indescribable feeling that I get when I capture an image that is everything that I didn’t even realize I was looking for ... every time I get that feeling, I am reminded why I love doing what I do.
