When beauty meets architecture magic happens and today's beautiful Vizcaya Wedding editorial from Cavin Elizabeth Photography is truly magical. This museum is an architectural masterpiece and we love the way Cavin allowed it to become the focal point in her images. The simplistic feel to the models look, and her classic beauty, are the perfect compliments!
From photographer Cavin Elizabeth: "Full of old world eye candy, this bridal session is a beautiful inspiration for brides who love architecture, history, and gorgeous gowns with soft movement. Shot at the historical Miami Vizcaya Museum, which was formerly an estate, this shoot was entirely inspired by the venue itself as if it were the bride's home.
The gorgeous Mediterranean Revival architecture provided a stunning setting for the gowns from Chicago designer Alyssa Kristin. While chic and fitted above the waist, both gowns featured skirts that flow beautifully with movement.
Miami florist Julia Rohde created a beautiful neutral bouquet with pops of soft purple and a shape that perfectly complemented the gorgeous structures of the venue. The two bridal hair and makeup looks were elegantly styled and then given a slightly modern and bold feel, respectively.
My hope is that these images inspire brides to treat themselves to a bridal portrait session before their wedding day. It's a beautiful thing to be able to tell your own story separate from the day you marry.
