Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.
— Oscar Wilde

Our dreams take us on adventures through our minds. Adventures that leave us breathless, wondering and longing for more. Our dreams tell us stories and create places of magic that we can only fantasize about. Our dreams are brought to life today by the masterminds of Mason Neufeld Photography and Shaw Events. Magical, whimsical and romantically dark, this European Inspired bridal session is pure magic!

From photographer Mason Neufeld: "We aimed to create a timeless, utterly romantic scene that radiated old-world vibes. Every detail felt as if it was from a past era:

The calligraphy featured typical elements of European gothic architecture; an era in art history which influenced the design of the venue, The Hart House. This era was the source of inspiration for this session. The gothic era was one which sought to broaden windows to bring more light into churches. I love the thought of a movement in art which seeks to create more light. Shooting inside The Hart House allowed for moody light that oozes romance and mystery. I mean what bride wouldn't want a palace to herself on her wedding day?

It was my goal to create an overall aesthetic that was light and airy in order to go along with the the "light seeking" theme inspired by the gothic era. The gorgeous white arches at the venue really tied the theme together.

The bouquet had classic white flowers and was elegant but with a deconstructed, natural edge. The shape of the ring mirrored the rose shaped windows of gothic architecture, and the dark gems match our bride's striking features. I am in love with how the whimsical, mid-summer romance combined with a moody European architecture. The end result is a gallery which I am proud to call timeless."
