Sunset Cliffs Engagement Session by Mallory Dawn Photography

I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I’ve ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, everyday we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours.
— Nicholas Sparks

Real love is often a journey to discover but once found, it is the most precious gift that we can hang on to. There for us through all of life's experiences we must nurture our love for it is the most important part of our being. The essence of our time on earth, real love is what makes it all worth it. Today's sweet love story, as told by Mallory Dawn Photography, has us whisked away to the beautiful and sunny California Coast.

From photographer Mallory Haren: "Irene & Michael are such a sweet couple.  When they said they wanted to take their engagement photos at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, CA I was so thrilled because it is such a beautiful backdrop for photos!  Diamant, the talent behind Blue Ladder Botany created such a whimsical bouquet for Irene to hold.  She kept the colors mostly neutral, with some warmer tones which really matched the setting well.  We got very lucky with the weather the day of their session.  It was such a beautiful day and it ended with a gorgeous sunset that provided us with some amazing light."

Providing people with timeless images that tell the story of honest relationships is incredibly important to me. I would describe my style as timeless, soft, romantic and elegant. I am a hybrid photographer, which means I shoot both digital and film. Once I started shooting film, I never looked back. The colors, textures and softness that film can produce in an image is breathtaking. I feel like film truly represents my brand and style of photography. In short, film is timeless and that is what I want for my clients.
