You don’t find love, it finds you. It’s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate and what’s written in the stars.
— Anais Nin

Love which is destined to be will always find a way. We often cross paths time and again coming so close yet never truly touching until the moment and timing is just right. Our lives intertwine and yet we linger just far enough away until our lives collide and everything changes in an instant. For Jacqueline and Josh their stories converged long before they knew and once fate brought them together, life's coincidences all made perfect sense. Captured beautifully by Richelle Hunter, their love story is truly one written in the stars.

From Jacqueline {the bride}: "I absolutely love our love story. We fell hard and we fell fast. Which was actually quite the blessing because the friend who set us up refrained from telling me that Josh was moving to Seattle only 2 months after we started talking. But in those 2 months we decided we were going to make long distance work from Toronto to Seattle. And the best part is that we actually grew up only 10 minutes apart, our sisters were even friends and I swear I knew every member of his family but him. Timing is a funny thing but when it's meant to be, it's meant to be. I visited Seattle every couple months and Josh made many trips home. We missed each other every second we were apart but when we were together, the reward was great. Hiking in the mountains, whale watching, campfires on the beach at sunset...we absolutely loved our west coast adventures.

Josh proposed on New Years Eve in the Swiss Alps with his late Grandmothers engagement ring and it was the most incredible, most surreal moment of my life. We later had a ring made together in Seattle..a pear shaped peach sapphire and I couldn't be more obsessed.

As a wedding photographer myself (Injoy Imagery) I was beyond excited for our engagement shoot and after picking Richelle as our photographer, who we adore beyond words, we knew she'd capture our love so perfectly and in the prettiest way possible. These photos make my heart burst and just reiterate what a gift photography really is. Seeing mine and Josh's love from the outside just reminds me how lucky we are that our paths were ready to cross when the timing was just right."

We love...timeless, airy, luminous photography and are inspired by soft palettes and elegance. We swoon over timeless couples who love from the deepest parts of their souls and live large.

Eric and I are always inspired by brides and grooms who radiate with style and yearn for photos with character... the kind of aesthetic that won’t go out of style in ten years.
