I have loved her, my little wanderer, with a mind full of wild forests and eyes that await adventure.

Life is a journey that plays out before us with our greatest adventures leading us to places that we've seen only in our dreams. This adventure is one to be shared. It is meant to savored and explored while discovering ourselves with a depth and understanding that we long for. To find love on this journey through life is the greatest gift that one can imagine. Today's journey is that of Riya and Peter, captured beautiful by Cornelia Zaiss Photography, their love has swept us away to the beautiful Kings Canyon, California.

From photographer Cornelia Zaiss: "When Riya and Peter booked me for their wedding next year they immediately told me they would like to do their engagement session in Sequoia National Park because they both love spending time outdoors and are fascinated with the giant trees. Standing next to the redwoods was surreal and photographing the two lovebirds next to them even more. It showed us all how beautiful and magical nature is. Neither of us wanted to leave at the end of the day. I highly encourage people to explore the U.S. sometime. It has incredibly beautiful areas that often get overlooked because they are just in our backyard. I often hear of people who travel to far places, but you don't have to. Some of the most gorgeous places are right in front of us and it feels good to escape the office and daily life once in awhile over the weekend! I highly encourage it in today's computer and social media world. Just grab someone, and get away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the beauty this world has created.

I love working with natural light and finding beauty in the simplicity of things. When photographing, I strive to bring out real emotion, capture personalities, and tell a story about my client. I want to portray the life and love in this world with natural, beautiful images that my clients can treasure for a lifetime.
