Ethereal Las Vegas Wedding Inspiration by Kristen Joy Photography

When we envision a Las Vegas wedding we often think of a small white chapel and Elvis but today's beautiful inspiration shoot is breaking down every Vegas wedding cliche you've ever known. Captured by Kristen Joy Photography, this ethereal wedding inspiration shoot is showing us the timeless and classic side of Las Vegas and we have to admit, we're in LOVE!

From event planner Weddings & Events by Emily: "Set at the JW Marriot in Las Vegas, this hidden oasis is only 20 minutes from the famous strip. Inspired by the natural and organic space we chose to incorporate muted tones of grey into ample loose and lush greenery.

The unconventional grey ethereal gown was custom made to make this bride look like a real life princess, The bride held an oversized bouquet with fresh blooms including amnesia, white garden and vendela cream roses, white ranunculus, jasmine flower and dusty miller. Some of the lush greenery included acacia leaves, leather green fern, eucalyptus gunni and pittosporum leaves.

Cultivate goods combined foraged arrangements in organic cement pots for an earthy yet romantic feel that were placed atop a dusty grey silk table runner and classic wooden farmhouse table. Rosemary sprigs accented the stunning dinnerware and were paired with antique silver flatware to elevate the natural look. Various height taper candles were scattered throughout the full table.

If you love a modern and minimalistic look then this cake is for you. The hexagon shaped, pale grey marbled tiers resembled a slap of gorgeous cut stone. A few bright blooms were placed on the cake to bring the sleep pattern to life."

I have been a wedding and portrait photographer for 11 years. I started in Pittsburgh, PA after meeting and interning under an amazing photojournalistic style wedding photographer. Through workshops, and college credits, I have developed my style and experience. I enjoy capturing fine art wedding photography with photojournalistic elements. Capturing real moments is one of my favorite parts of photography, but I also love capturing details couples put into their big day.

I photograph using Nikon professional equipment Pentax film equipment. I love the look of film and so my photos most resemble the warm and beautiful tones you find with film.
