Door County Wedding Inspiration by Natashia Nicole Photography

We've never been to Door County, Wisconsin but today's gorgeous editorial from Natashia Nicole Photography has us dreaming about it. This inspiration shoot is full of the sweetest details and we simply can't pick a favourite. The sweet cakes, gorgeous horse and stunning Elizabeth Dye gown have completely swept us away!

From photographer Natashia Nicole: This blush and gold shoot was inspired by the beauty of Door County, Wisconsin. Door County is a popular tourist destination in Wisconsin; for good reason. It boasts vineyards, wineries, orchards, quaint shops and bed & breakfasts, numerous lighthouses, and the stunning beauty of Lake Michigan. It’s reminiscent to the French Countryside, but it’s right here in the States. We wanted to utilize a vineyard for this shoot, as Door County is so famous for them. Lautenbach's Orchard Country in the small town of Fish Creek served as our lovely backdrop. We chose blush as the main color for the shoot, because we wanted to offset the lush greenery of the vineyard with a soft, feminine pallet. Gold accents brought a touch of glam, while still keeping the feel natural. The gorgeous blush and lace Elizabeth Dye gown stole the show, and was the centerpiece of the styling. Three cakes decorated with fresh fruits, florals, and honey were a beautiful additional to the shoot. We absolutely loved creating and working on this shoot. It gave us the opportunity to showcase the beauty that our state has to offer, and to bring a small amount of the French countryside to a small town in Wisconsin.

My photography style is real, organic, and genuine. My goal is to give all of my couples not only an amazing experience, but also beautiful images that will be treasured forever. I love to photograph sessions and weddings as unposed and authentic as possible, so I can focus on the real moments in your relationship and of the day. I want you to be able to look back at your images in forty years and be able to feel and experience the love the same way you did that day; the joy, the laughter, and the memories.
