Cedar Lakes Estate Wedding Inspiration by Bashful Captures

Our eyes met wildly the very first time
Holding depths so familiar as if we met in another lifetime

Inspiration comes to us so often in our surroundings and Cedar Lakes Estate was the integral component to today's editorial session by Bo Shim of Bashful Captures. Nature provides us with the perfect backdrop allowing today's couple to be the primary focus of every capture. Bright, airy and romantic, summer has never been so elegant.

From photographer Bo Shim: "Ever since I found out about Cedar Lakes Estate, I've been dreaming about shooting there. In collaboration with the ever so talented Cala Floral Studio, we were able to make this dream come true! Cedar Lakes Estate is a tranquil getaway from the city with bounds of lush pine trees, fields and lakes. It is an absolutely stunning place for a wedding. Inspiration for this shoot came easy as colorful, romantic and airy elements were perfect themes for this picturesque back drop. I wanted to with play pops of colors for the shoot. Orange, blush, yellow and greens. Despite the weather being far from perfect on this day, thanks to all the amazing vendors that made this shoot possible, we were able to capture some beautiful moments!"

My love story takes place in New York City. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts I picked up my first camera working at a small neighborhood photography studio and instantly knew I had found my love and passion.

My journey continued when I had the opportunity to be a part of a well established wedding photography studio where I gained invaluable experience working with amazing people for over six years. My love for photography continues to grow everyday and has culminated into Bashful Captures.
