Every time I receive a submission from It List Member Jennifer Munoz I absolutely swoon. Her photography style is timeless, elegant and simply breathtaking. This stunning Botanical Garden Inspiration Shoot perfectly encapsulates everything we love about her!
From Jennifer Munoz: After visiting the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, I knew I had to return to photograph an intimate wedding. I dreamed of a couple enjoying each other in an organic romantic setting, soaking in the last days of autumn. Elements of the English Garden were infused into each layer of the wedding scene - her gown, his suit, the bountiful florals, the artful wedding invitation suite, the cake, the tablescape, and in each little detail. As fate would have it, this intimate wedding shoot took place on what was indeed the last warm day of autumn.
Styling Details: In the English Gardens, our florist Laura, made perfect use of the beautifully complex scenery and details: stone arches, weathered brick walkways, organic linens, soft tulle gown layers, golden flatware, and classically simple plating. Her table centerpiece and the long stemmed candles set the romantic mood while a blue grey linen table runner, white plating, and crystal stemware balanced the clean organic affect. An understated piece that cannot be overlooked is the warm wooden table (originally hand made in India) that anchored all of these elements. Our calligrapher Claire created stunning artful pieces for the wedding invitation suite. Again, featuring elevated elements from the English Garden, she hand painted the florals and masterfully scripted the calligraphy. A golden seal on the envelope and golden edges around the paper pieces gave us the warmth that tied back to the tablescape and gave a nod to the last sunny days of autumn. The cake was cleanly white, reminding us of the round white plating on the table. The two tiers of differing heights kept the cake modern yet classic. Placed on a golden stand and adorned simply with foliage, the cake pulled in another layer that was romantic, elevated, and organic. Our gorgeous couple looked stunning in carefully chosen pieces from the La Neige bridal shop. We chose the soft cameo pink Annabelle gown designed by Jenny Yoo. Using the sheer tulle panels, we opted to create sophisticated sleeves to distinguish from the original sleeveless version. The result was a dynamic and romantic affect, especially in the back. For our groom, we chose a dark charcoal fitted suit which perfectly grounded and complemented our bride's gown in their photos together. The fitted structure and angles, as well as the dark color, added luxury to our organic scene. Our bride's hair was done in a gorgeous braided crown, with natural loose curls at the bottom. Her makeup was also natural and dewy with warm rose undertones.
