Art Gallery of Hamilton Wedding Inspiration by Kayla Yestal

Where do we even begin on how much we are in love with today's Art Gallery of Hamilton Wedding Inspiration shoot by the incredibly talented Kayla Yestal and It List Member Shaw Events. The details of this shoot are truly exquisite and Kayla's photography style is what dreams are made of. Full of rich tones, depth and a keen attention to detail, you always know with Kayla comes perfection!

From photographer Kayla Yestal: For this shoot we were inspired by blending sleek, modern elements with more romantic and wild components. Shooting at the incredible Art Gallery of Hamilton allowed us to start with a blank slate of sorts, complete with clean lines, white walls, and high ceilings. From there, Danielle from Shaw Events was able to bring in elements such as the loose feminine florals from Roses and Twine Floral Studio and the more classic looking invitation suite from Flourish Calligraphy. To pull everything together, we styled the bride in a simple and elegant Elizabeth Dye gown with a lot of movement to really bring in that passionate and romantic quality. The whole look was tied together by her messy but stylish ponytail for a more modern take on a traditional up-do. Our resulting shoot really blended everything together, resulting in the perfect wedding for a more fashion forward bride.

My photography style isn’t just about making each wedding day look like it could grace the pages of a fine art wedding magazine, it is also about building real friendships with my clients in order to capture their own little joys and quirks in a beautiful and fluent way. I don’t want my couples to just think of me as a vendor, I want them to think of me as one of their besties who they can text excitedly the moment they find the dress, and who will straight up squeal with joy alongside them!

This approach allows me to give myself the chance to really invest myself in the experience of each and every one of my couples. I genuinely want all of my clients to feel as if I am a friend they have had forever, and that their wedding day isn’t going to be spent with just a hired hand, instead it will be spent with someone who wholeheartedly cares about them - who just happens to be taking incredible photos of them all day.
